On February 15th and 16th, the first information event for the national LEADER project "European Slow Trips - participative and innovative tourism experiences" took place in Eastern Styria for interested excursion destinations. The vision of the project is to develop 30 bookable Slow Trips experiences in the Eastern Styria adventure region, which can be booked online and offline via various portals. Project manager Barbara Stumpf is looking forward to the redefinition of beauty in tourism and the right insider tips in the region. Project employee Doris Allmer from the Erlebnisregion Oststeiermark emphasizes the importance of the Erlebnisregion Oststeiermark also wanting to distinguish itself in the direction of ecotourism in the future. In a 2-hour get-to-gether, led by the project manager Barbara Stumpf, the joint project activities for the next two project years were explained and the special features of the Slow Trips project were pointed out. Towards the end of the event, active brainstorming started in the direction of an innovative experience development. Discussions were encouraged by excursion destination representatives, which will point the way for the success of the project.
