The people in the Danube region between Passau and Strudengau have made it their mission to create extraordinary things. They produce treasures and delicacies that are outstanding in both concept and quality.

The locals show such a great variety of skills: from traditional shipbuilders to master chocolatiers and confectioners; from one of the last manual glassblowers to bold pioneers of winemaking; from vegetable growers who are working to revive heritage varieties to the creative chefs using the produce to create exciting gastronomical experiences.
